South East Atlanta Business Association

The South East Atlanta Business Association (SEABA) was created through the merger of the Reynoldstown/Cabbagetown Business Association and the Grant Park Merchants Association in 2006. Our primary goals are to strengthen and grow the business community and enhance the quality of life for all residents. SEABA is a 501(C)(6) non-profit corporation registered in The State of Georgia.

Business Luncheon

SEABA is delighted and honored to have Fulton County Commissioner Arrington as our guest speaker on Thursday, March 19 for the Business Luncheon at Zoo Atlanta from 12:00-1:15 p.m.. He will be sharing his vision and first year priorities for District 5, including key issues such as transportation, public safety and economic growth. These are all very important topics to our area and our members. There may be other surprise guests weighing in as well! Our meeting will be held in the Ford Conference Room in the zoo’s ARC facility starting with a meet and greet networking session at noon, a presentation by Commissioner Arrington and a question/answer session. The cost for attendance is $14, which can be paid at the door in cash, check or by credit card. We look forward to seeing you all for the 1st Business Luncheon of 2015!

SEABA Business Luncheon-Lunch with you Elected Officials

Allow me to invite you, on behalf of the Southeast Atlanta Business Association (SEABA) to have “Lunch with your Elected Officials” at the SEABA Quarterly Luncheon, on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Noon in the ARC at Zoo Atlanta. Invited officials include State Senator Nan Orrock, State Representative Margaret Kaiser, Atlanta City Council Member Carla Smith (District 1), Atlanta Board of Education Member Leslie Grant (District 1), and newly elected Fulton County Commissioner , Marvin Arrington, Jr.(District 5).
Our panel will share their State, County, City, educational and legislative priorities. We invite you to come, eat, listen, learn, network and enlighten your elected officials on the needs of our community. This experience should enhance our elected officials awareness and support as they make decisions impacting education, safety, and economic development in Southeast Atlanta.
The cost to attend is $15. Space is limited, so please RSVP.

Business Luncheon-April 24

Our next event will be a Business Luncheon hosted by Zoo Atlanta in the Ford Conference Room on April 24, 2014 beginning at noon. I am pleased to announce that Mr. Justin E. Giboney, External Affairs Manager/Redevelopment, Invest Atlanta (Atlanta Development Authority) has agreed to be our guest speaker. Mr. Giboney will give a 20-30 minute presentation on what’s new on the economic development front impacting local businesses. In like manner, an update on TAD’s, Turner Field redevelopment; and share a list of resources, programs and funds available to assist new, small and medium sized businesses. This will be followed by a brief question-and -answer period of which members of the audience are encouraged to participate. The cost to attend is $12 and all are welcome. SEABA Business Luncheon
